NYS 8 Hour Firearms Annual Training
Our Training Makes the Difference
This course is designed by the NYS Division of Criminal Justice Security Guard Program. Armed guards must complete this course annually. It includes three hours of classroom refresher on the use of force, followed by a written examination and five hours of weapons qualification, which includes a proficiency examination.
(Service-caliber handgun required.)
The cost of this course is $125.00

* Students must provide a duty caliber firearm, ammunition, ear muffs (ear plugs are not allowed), eye protection (wrap around glasses or prescription glasses with side shields) and a baseball cap.
