Handcuffing Techniques for Security and Public Safety Professionals
Handcuffing Techniques for Security and Public Safety Professionals
TRAIN WITH PURPOSE. RESTRAIN WITH CONTROL.
Service Description
Handcuffs are among the most commonly used restraint tools in security and public safety operations. However, simply carrying handcuffs does not mean an individual has been properly trained to use them safely, effectively, and responsibly. The 4-Hour Professional Handcuffing Course offered by Criminal Justice Professionals Training and Consulting, LLC combines classroom instruction with practical, hands-on training designed to develop safer and more effective handcuffing skills. Students learn principles for approaching, controlling, restraining, handcuffing, searching, and monitoring a subject while emphasizing officer safety, subject safety, control, communication, and professional responsibility.
